No idea, but I sawed off the little logo on my Extra and I've had no issues yet. Maybe I'm not thinking of the same bit as you though. I mean the selle smp logo which is there for people behind you to see. But then the rails on the Extra are connected at the back so I'd imagine it's not at all structural

Anyone know if its possible to buy a replacement of the bridge that holds the rails in on the back?
Want to hacksaw off the middle bit as it makes saddle bags a nightmare to fit
