Plomesgate 10 on B10/9.
Should be fun: I haven't ridden a bike for three months (thanks Sciatica) and Pnut is off two minutes behind me...

You need to email Fibrelyte requesting however many spacers made from Tester's drawings.
Bolts need to be whatever stack is + original bolt length, can't rememebr off the top of my head but it's might be 30mm.
The tricky bit is these which you need 4x (2x set) to fill in the recesses in the base bar to allow you to use the spacers.

Good luck! 3months? I'm nearly at 5months without a proper ride. Open 10 on the 25th......

Also got my first race tomorrow, I'm very fat but there's a 45mph gift hill at the start soooo

Right link? It's the same link as the first one, which is for the risers.

Thanks.
Why have you been off for so long?

Hardly Hippy fat though, I'm sure.

Marathon training. Never again...

what's the craic with the spacer stack?
How many spacers do you want? I've got some 60mm 3T ones you can have for a small fee. As @umop3pisdn says, the skinny carbon ones come from Fibrelyte, they're about £4 each and minimum order is 12 pieces, you'll need 24 to make a pair of 60mm stacks. My bridge drawing has a cut out for a Garmin mount but I can easily draw one without, mine was ~£20 from Fibrelyte

Never again...
I don't blame you!

How many spacers do you want?
Good question: I'm using 50mm now I've got the Vuka clips, but it's too early to say if that's ok and my guess is that I'll want to come up once I get my short cranks.
I'll probably go with the Fibrelyte spacers, for the adjustability if nothing else.
Thanks for the offer of the revised bridge, most kind. I'll take you up on that, but there's no immediate hurry.

Meh.
I-ride have a clamp kit which includes them... for £40.
So I ordered them direct from 3T for £18.51.

Meanwhile, the Postie's been!
Full marks to Mike Burrows for a quick turnaround: I went to the PO last Saturday, which means they didn't actually get sent until Monday and that was second class.
This afternoon could go either way...

I'm presuming my event is cancelled, absolute pea super here.

• #268
It's a bit Dickensian here, but first man isn't off until 14:00 so I doubt it'll be a problem.

pea super
Pea-souper, from the consistency of the air being like pea soup.

My version control is all over the place, these might not be exactly the same drawing as everybody else has been using but they do at least line up with one another.

Gonna blame autocorrect for that one

That's great: I'm very much obliged!
One more favour: can you tell me what size screws I need for the full 60mm stack? If I can get everything ordered now, that will save some time.
-
• #273
That was horrible: I wasn't expecting much, but I didn't even get that.
Just scraped in under the half hour: first time I've been over Standard too.
Pretty uncomfortable too: kept pushing back on the saddle and a lot of weight on my shoulders.
I did forget to raise my saddle after fitting the shorter cranks and I'm 10mm lower at the front than last year, but it's hard to sort the wheat from the chaff until I've been riding more.
The sun came out at the end though! :)

It's spacer stack + 25mm for the Mk1, but @umop3pisdn is your man if you have questions about the Mk2. If you have no spacers now, just measure the screws you have and add the spacer stack, including the 2mm for the conversion plates. You might want to get the bridge made from 3mm stock to make everything add up to an integer multiple of 5. My bridge is 5mm, but that's because I wanted to hide the full depth of the quarter-turn mount, I'm sure 3mm will be plenty for stability purposes.

Right-ho!
I'll have to wait until the bars arrive to measure the screws: he wasn't sure earlier.
A 3mm bridge makes sense, if the plates are 2mm.
So what event do you have tomorrow?
