To those who are still reading, reasons beyond me, stage one of my plan has been completed.
In that I have found a large lo pro with track ends, thanks to @woah. Admittedly I rekon it was a TT frame due to drilling (however no cable guides?), one friction shifter and derailure hanger.
It has been suggested that it was built by Aende post 1980 - from what I gather a Sheffeild based frame builder who had quite a good rep (sadly dead).
It is very light, lighter than the Concorde, has an unusual grub screw for the seatpost. It has Campanolo track ends and Cinelli BB, the rest is fillet brazed. The clearances are nice and tight. At some stage this was repainted, I think it was red/orange before due to remnants left on the fork and in the BB. Threadings are British and it has two 700c wheels.
So this is stage one; build it up with existing parts and slowly upgrade. Stage 2, rebuilding the Concorde is way off.
With the paint looking like it is alongside the decals it is likely it will be repainted and probably get a European stylie going on.
Some aspirations of what I hope it to look like. Thinking two tone blue with pink benotto (pic 2), though the purple looks very nice.
This is just an update. Will probably start a new thread when it gets new paint / when accumulated bits start to make their way on. I plan to start the hording of new bits (wheels, cranks - unsure, wheels, bars, seat).
Have it built up with existing parts now. The pedals and crank are really cool however the plastic cages are useless. Both have already snapped; glad I got some metals ones off Hilary a while back.
