Yep - I would only be doing a new paint job myself, as I'm very happy for this bike to look a little ratty - def. not going to splash out hundreds on a professional job.
If any wannabe painters btw would like to paint this (and paint whatever they wanted on it) I would be very happy for that to happen :)

I have the same bike, but i've barely changed a thing except the saddle to white fizik Antares and changed the tires to Vittoria open corsa 27s for matchy green and white bits. The way I look at it is this bike geo was designed to be ridden over the cobbles at flanders/Roubaix so a new paint job is a bit pointless
