Someone managed to crash into my parked bm a week or so ago, he left his card and seems to be willing to pay out for it (amazingly)

Anyone have any recommendation of body shops in sw or se? Have already got him a quote from a place in camberwell under the station...

Hmm. Tricky. My personal experience would be to get it assessed on insurance.

I have tried a few 'body repair' outfits and am always let down by the result.

If they have to put a new door on so be it etc.

Will look new...

Nothing major, but a bit annoying.

@Ordinata I really don't think the car is worth very much and imagine it would just be written off by the insurance company.

As long as it looks fine and the bumper isn't going to fall off then I would be happy

I don't think he had time to enjoy the view. Lots of broken bones less if a Box hedge had cushioned his landing, wrong crash wrong place, Still very lucky.

Sad thing was that car didn't win much as the vauxhall red top engine was the engine to have at the time.

I still swear by ensis fluid. If that stuff is used on oil rigs it is great inside cavities.

Yes, quite shocking. Quite a few fatalities in historics over the last few years too, some experienced drivers lost. I was in Paris over the weekend that Roland Ratzenberger and Ayrton were lost. Just awful, I can still recall our disbelief.
Then theres Indycar....
