It is definitely a genuine shot, taken in about 1990. 50th anniversary of Battle of Britain or something. Image was issued as a poster I believe long ago. Flew along Dover's famous Dover (or white cliffs as per the song). Spitfire was said to be the oldest one still flying and an actual veteran of the B of B. Google image search isn't infallible BTW!
