I want to replace a smashed screen on a Lenovo Lenovo flex 2-15. I have disabled the touch screen settings and functions fine (bar the spider web crack).
Am I correct in thinking that what I need is a "touch screen glass digitizer"? a la;
I've found some instructions and it looks easier than replacing an iPhone screen, so I think I'm capable. Alternatively if anyone knows somewhere/would do it for £30-50, then I'm open to suggestions.
Yes the digitizer is usually the top layer of glass, be careful when you remove it the LCD isn't damaged by removing it most of them it's glue so hairdryer on full blast to warm it up and peel away glass shards.
