Would Tiagra 4600 chainrings look horrendous sprayed black? I hate how they're a slightly different shade of grey to the cranks and can't afford to replace them

I want to replace a smashed screen on a Lenovo Lenovo flex 2-15. I have disabled the touch screen settings and functions fine (bar the spider web crack).
Am I correct in thinking that what I need is a "touch screen glass digitizer"? a la;
?
I've found some instructions and it looks easier than replacing an iPhone screen, so I think I'm capable. Alternatively if anyone knows somewhere/would do it for £30-50, then I'm open to suggestions.
Cheers.

How do frame builders make enough to survive?
Just pondering this - if you built 25 frames per year and charged £2000 per frame then that's only £50,000 - not even taking into account tooling and materials cost, running a business, rent etc. let alone time taken on each frame.
How is it possible? Or am I missing something?

Build more than 25 frames a year
-
• #74864
They make more than 25 per year? That's the only variable there you have.
Also consider add on sales, OEM deals, etc that some frame makers have to add a few extra $$ on top of each sale. -

How do frame builders make enough to survive?
In some senses, they don't - there were 10 times as many UK framebuilders when I was a boy than there are now.
One way is to attach your frame building operation to a shop, so that there are other revenue streams. Another is to build more than one frame every fortnight. The third is to have very low costs, building in your shed and taking a low wage. I'm sure there are examples of all three currently.

Surely just building more per year diminishes the value, perceived or otherwise?
@mdcc_tester all seems to make sense.

Depends on the builder, to cater to different buyers. Rob English most certainly produces far fewer frames a year than Rourke, probably for double the cost. An English buyer is unlikely to consider Rourke.
Similarly you've got people like Rychtarski smashing out loads of frames at the lower end of the market.
edit:
His [English's] current output is about 23 to 28 frames per year

I've just ordered a Specialized Allez frame and an Ultegra groupset. Front mech is braze-on but frame doesn't appear to have a hanger. Do I need an adapter?

Yes the digitizer is usually the top layer of glass, be careful when you remove it the LCD isn't damaged by removing it most of them it's glue so hairdryer on full blast to warm it up and peel away glass shards.

What's the cheapest I can get a custom stem? In the most basic design, not worrying about weight or fancy finishes
10 Speed chains, is there a better deal (quality/cost) than a £13.99 Ultegra 6701 116 link?
