My standard response to that is that I don't quite eat enough beans/other farty food to justify paying a CO2 pollution tax (the VED) ;)
It must cos a lot of money to mount a private prosecution? Or is this a no win no win fee thing?
Just read it properly, it was Martin Porter himself who was the cyclist, so he was representing himself.
He's just tweeted to say that the driver was acquitted. "Statement later."
