^ Nothing as dangerous as that, but when I was a kid I did some temporary work stints and one of them involved demolition. Our crew was put on the roof of a commercial building and was instructed to use our sledge hammers to punch holes through and thereby gradually destroy the structure upon which we stood. No helmets, no fall prevention devices.
