Compressionless outers are usually quite stiff and that's why they offer much better performance over regular coil outers.
I've used Goodridge they're fine but I prefer either BMX outer or Jagwire as they are easily available.
If you're in London, pop by Condor cycles, they have a reel of Jagwire and will cut it to order.
Is the Jagwire or other decent compressionless outer available by the metre? I've only ever seen it as part of a set. I know the Goodridge variant can be purchased by the metre but I've been led to believe it's really inflexible.
