• I need some help identifying these chainrings.
    I acquired this crankset about 2 years ago and have remained at page 1 in the search to figure these rings out. The finish quality is impeccable and doesn't look to be the work of a 'home mechanic'. The only markings are 54J and 45J on the rings and from the sellers memory they have been attached to these undated Campagnolo record cranks since he bought them used in the 70s. Any insight would be appreciated!

  • On the back of the cranks will be a number in a circle or a diamond: what's there?

    54/45 are time trial sizes and "drillium" was widely exercised in garages and sheds across the country.
