For Sale: Condor/Dave Yates 51cm MTB Shimano XT/Chris King/Thomson/Brooks/porteur rack £445

I just bought this bicycle on eBay after bidding speculatively and not really expecting to win the auction... Riding it home I realised that I have absolutely no need for another bicycle. Before I start faffing around with it I thought I would see if anyone here was interested in it. I paid £395 for it, and am asking for an extra £40 to cover the cost of the train journey to pick it up.

So that's £435, not £445. Sorry.

I am 5’10” and it fits me perfectly, although the bars are ridiculously wide.

The headset needs tightening and the gears could do with a bit of adjusting. Frame and forks are absolutely immaculate!

I am in Camberwell, near Ruskin Park.

I have attached the original seller’s photos. The bike doesn’t come with the pedals or bottle cage.

The steerer is uncut so there is room to remove some spacers to lower the bars.

Very, very nice. My custom MTB was that colour once.
Deffo looks Yates'ish but might be worth clarifying its ID with the folks in Newcastle as I don't know of any tie-up between them and Condor in London. It could be a model name of course.

Thanks, but I think if no one wants the whole thing I'll see how I get on with it. I've just put some Humpert Climber bars on it, so the Funn 810 mm handlebars up up for grabs.
