Because it would be an awful lot of money to convert the current fork I have, remember I'll have to get it rechromed after too.
I think we have to remember that the frame already isn't 'genuine' as the seat tube has been replaced as well as the paint not being original. Is it really that important for the forks to be Tommasini?

Why dont just make the fork that you have bought shorter? When you shorten it for smaller wheel you can make smaller gaps and by that your rake will also get smaller - just like in the track forks.
