Can anyone please point me in the direction of a tyre pressure for different weights for different tyre size guide?

Rim tape, is there any difference between the brands. Just something for commuter/tourer bike so reliability/longevity over go-faster stripes.

I need a bang on D 8mm L 15mm M5 barrel nut for a Syncros seatpost. Thomson Elite is slightly too big. Any ideas where to source this?

From my broken Syncros seatpost, perhaps?

I had a pair of these for about 10 years. Bought from an army surplus place back in NI. They were amazing. Did me for many trips to the Mournes and when I started digging (archaeology). Didn't take at all long to break in and were sealed to the top of the boot.

Fab, thanks for the recommendation. I got e-mailed my press pass today and I've booked my flights. Just looking for an AirBnB place to stay now. Will probably stay more centrally and get the metro to the Feria Valencia, rather than staying next to it. I assume the metro is pretty easy and reliable?

I ripped a chunk of skin out of my heel on a nail last night, it's not really an emergency but as it's still bleeding I could do with someone having a look at it later - where do I go?

Is there a minor injuries unit near you?
There's one at Guy's:

I'm sure there are more elsewhere, but nowadays they don't seem to be named as consistently as they once were.

Thanks, looks like the nearest one to me is part of Homerton A&E... Will be my fourth trip there in two years, after never being near one in the previous 20-something years.

Thanks stevo - were these the desert boots or the German paras?
-
• #74849
German Paras. They do need to be looked after though (cleaned, treated, dried slowly if soaked etc)

I've a pair of "Small 10" size para boots (apparently British when sold to me), they're too big, really I need a large 9 at most. Might get shot if they interest anyone. Not exactly light, but totally waterproof. Have kept them good with various leather care products over the past couple years of limited use on wet days.
This is the nice version of the batten holder (yes, that's what they're called)
