I might however use an internet forum to commune with other cyclists, who ride in conditions similar to me, to gague accumulated knowledge around the matter and give myself a better chance of purchasing a tyre that suits my needs.

Just replace them with any tyres, durano is decent, durano plus is like a mini-marathon plus.
