  • I think part of the problem with the tattoo fixers is that they usually cover the bad tattoo with a piece not much bigger that often doesn't fit on the body particularly well.

A lot of the covers would benefit from larger, more form fitting pieces over a couple of sittings.

It might be due to time constraints, costs or ability of people to make multiple journeys but whatever the reason, it doesn't lead to great tattoos.

  • I've usually thought that the stuff they design ideas bigger than what is actually needed. Either way drunk tattoos are a big no no. Having a tattoo that you like but wish was done slightly better is different to having one that you hate completely for many reasons lol

Im lucky I am very please with all of mine.

  • so here is my childhood best friend meeting his twin for the 1st time!!!

  • How many people has it murdered?

  • You really wanna know?? They'd have to kill you afterwrds though.

  • I love clowns tattoos and similar, and that one is lovely.

  • does the anaglyph cat work?

  • I dont know, never tried, I doubt it though...

As it happens, I found out the guy did the cat was Julia's appentice. Small world this is.

I am well happy with it, it would have been ideal if they were they same size.

  • Fuuuuuuuu, that is the scariest tattoo I've seen!

    Clowns are legit terrifying.

I hope you enjoy your tattoo though, haha!

  • New page soon?

  • How about now?

  • Remember when you said it would be embarrassing and you might not post it.... Nah it looks awesome! Really cool idea mate

    +1

Honestly half the time the original tats are just a bit shit, but not all that noticeable. And they'd be better left as a funny story about youthful fecklessness rather than some absolutely massive tat of some more generic flowers.

That said, along with house wives of OC it's my favourite trash / zone out TV show.

  • I'm often quite allergic to red ink so it takes ages to heal and is super itchy. I tried taking antihistamines last times and that seemed to do the trick.

  • Even looks like it's lying in a pool of blood. Terrifying/great.

  • Wow never came across that people could be allergic to certain coloured inks.... Makes sense considering they have different ingredients. will give that ago. Thanks

  • Plan ahea! Love that!

  • I think this might be the intention, I didn't see it when it was being done. I will ask her when I see her next... might extend the piece to include a few dead bodies...

  • Day 6 using Dermalize on my new tattoo, been changing it every night after shower, as it's not that water proof and I like a long shower etc... pretty impressed with it, no scab at all, very little itching yet. The only problem is it's not as easy to remove as I thought, and there has been some residual left on the skin when taking the Dermalize off, quite resistant too, but touch wood, no harm done to the tattoo.

Will be interesting to see how the rest of the healing goes when I leave the tattoo uncovered from tonight on.

  • Has anyone approached their tattoo artist of choice with kind of a vague idea? In the past I've had pretty exact ideas and let them role with it and it's always been cool. Now I've got a vague idea that I'm hoping they can actualise better than the rough idea I'm imagining.
    Is this a done thing?

  • Yep, pretty common I think!

  • I think often the vaguer the idea, the better the results. Especially if there are a lot of variables, they're the artist, leave the creative stuff to them.

  • Yep I just said I wanted a kraken on my leg to my tattooist and he went with it in his style.

  • I've done this for all my tattoos
