I've done that for a good few years.
A while ago.
It isn't entirely undesirable.
It has it's penalties.

That was, and is the house policy here.
I don't think it is the norm.
I confess to being curious about peeps who manage to cope along these lines.
I sense this might need a thread of it's own....
Otherwise it could jam up BToB.
