iunno, too much power if you ask me! seems like one of the chainring bolts fell out, and another pinged off when it bent. So wobble + force = deformed chainring. Shit happens!
Remember to torque your bolts now and again ¯_(ツ)_/¯

and loctite!
There has been an instance where my P2M spider came loose while riding .. scary stuff.

grease and vigilance > loctite every time.

New dura-ace. Crank appears to have the same power meter attached as seen on the FDJ bikes a month or so ago.

Botox.

BR rated them as an improvement on anything other than SRAM and Shimano rings.

Like I said, they do the job, same as the S-Works rings I have on the Tarmac. My shifting issues aren't likely to have anything to do with the chainrings, just wear and tear on the 105 deraillers most likely. Cable runs could be a bit sticky too.

@Bartroll Um, not sure about that gearing @Thuekr recommended here.
53x16 might be ok for a 200m standing start - but I would probably go a bit bigger (50x15). Really odd format for a qualifier though - you sure it won't be a flying 200m (that is normal).
53x14 (~100") for a sprint event is a BIG gear for someone who is 65kg and not a sprinter. I am a 90kg sprinter and I rarely race on anything bigger than 96" unless it's a flying 200m, keirin or a kilo. Leg speed is key here, riding a big gear won't help. 50x14 might be a better option
Using 53x15 (~92) for the other events should be fine.
Caveat - gearing is intensely personal. Really what you should do is look at what your desired cadence range will be (I'd imagine 90-95rpm if you don't race track often), look at what speed you expect to ride and pick a gear accordingly. If you know the surface is going to be bad, you might want to gear down a bit.

...and then, after reading dan's advice above, try and work out why this is being discussed in the Powermeter thread.
-
• #6763
My cadence is around 80rpm.
Basis of my gear recomendation. Yes 80 is terrible low for track events.

• #6764
Alright princess!
All sorts of crap gets discussed in here.
-
• #6765
Christ- hadn't seen that. 80! Ouch!

So does every new Shimano groupset, until we all get used to them.

Just been chatting with Mike Burrows (as you do) and he raves about Shimano cranks... then he went off on a bit of a tangent about Samurai swords.

My peak power is really low :(
Thanks for the answers. Anyway I caught the flu or something and I've fever (39º). Will test in the next race (2 weeks ).

Might be changing direction on a project, therefore if anyone is interested in a 110bcd SRM with PC7 that fits Rotor 3D+ let me know.

uh, where's the cheapest place to get a Hollowgram Stages?
Otherwise, is there another, better/cheaper way to get a moderately decent power meter? I'm not going to change my pedals, but wouldn't mind changing cranks or whatever.

Generally this place has cheapest PMs: https://www.powermeter24.com/
Mante.com another option.
how even?
