  • Not trying to add confusion but are those really Air fork blades? I thought those all had the aerodynamic cross section right up to the (air) fork crown. The blades in the photo end in a more standard, ellipsoid, cross section.

    These look a lot like the partially flattened blades you see on some SL or SLX tubed frames.

  • Did some digging. It appears air fork blades came in more then one variation. One with the aero profile which needs a special head crown, and then one that rounds off at the top for use with regular fork crowns. Which is what I think these are.

    I believe the blades he has are the ones which road off, which explains why the fork crown doesn't sweep back as much as the other air forks I've seen

  • Good one. Yeah I'm finding more Air tubed bikes with these kind of fork blades too, never knew there were two types of blades.
