Not trying to add confusion but are those really Air fork blades? I thought those all had the aerodynamic cross section right up to the (air) fork crown. The blades in the photo end in a more standard, ellipsoid, cross section.
These look a lot like the partially flattened blades you see on some SL or SLX tubed frames.

Did some digging. It appears air fork blades came in more then one variation. One with the aero profile which needs a special head crown, and then one that rounds off at the top for use with regular fork crowns. Which is what I think these are.
I believe the blades he has are the ones which road off, which explains why the fork crown doesn't sweep back as much as the other air forks I've seen
