Nope, I want blingy. Well, utilitarian is fine for the hub, but the finish needs to be properly polished. I could get one of them polished up by a machine shop I suppose. Either that or someone convinces me of the merits of cartridge bearings.

Cartridge bearings have merits.
Is that convincing enough?I wouldn't let the difference between swings and roundabouts be a deal breaker when choosing a hub. Of course, I also wouldn't let shininess be a deciding factor...
