Speaking of cunt buyers, how long should I wait for someone on ebay to either pay up or contact me in any way whatsoever before re-listing an item?

Folk are either too lazy to open/carry through on unpaid item cases or they don't have members with unpaid strikes blocked then.

My advice, open a case now so you (eventually) get your final value fee refunded and add that seller to your block list. When you relist can be a bit of a gamble, do it now and the buyer may still pay. Tomorrow night would be a good time to start a 10day listing though so...

^This. Sellers can only leave positive feedback or ''report buyer'' ...which pretty much does nothing there and then. Neither does opening a case for non-payments, unless they have a backlog of pissed off sellers submitting cases. It's counter intuitive but it's the only real way of informing other users that they're a bell end and to beware if possible.

I didn't even know this was a thing... WAC. I don't even know why you would do that.

I've already opened a non-payment case, will block them when I work out how. I'm fairly confident they have no intention of paying, given the comments that go back some time, so will either relist tomorrow or maybe hang on till Sunday eve for a 7-day one.

I have his home address if anyone is in the Birmingham area and needing a house to fling poo at.

The worst part is that leaving a negative comment on a positive rating is a breach of feedback policy so you can have these feedbacks removed.

@Dramatic_Hammer, I wanted to add that Banto tit to my block list and couldn't find it just clicking around so googled "ebay block list" and the top hit got me there. Clicking around did get me to other buyer restriction settings though and I increased the timescale for unpaid strikes to the max, it was set to only block bidders with 2 unpaid strikes in the last month, I changed to in the last 12 months I think.

I've been using ebay for well over a decade and while the experience has no doubt been gradually declining all that time, IME the last couple of years has been horrendous. Unpaid sales, items 'lost in the mail' etc and not the selling experience, I've had so many problems as a buyer recently too.

I've become a lot less active on it over the last 6 months and I'm probably 1 or 2 more problems away from just sacking it completely.

I bet he eats pizza, you should order him pizza and not pay unless he is already blocked by the pizza places.

Wouldnt normally post in here but have always dealt wiuth curteous and trustworthy sellers.

Purchased a bottom bracket and rear mech from @bountyhunter1980 a month ago , despite paying same evening seller didn't confirm postage until a week later after I chased him, said he sent it 2nd class. Didn't arrive, eventually assume with seller it was lost so I purchased both items elsewhere. No refund received.

10 days ago the bb and mech turn up 1st class recorded delivery (having being posted the day before) along with a message from seller asking if I've got them . I replied yes, but I wish they'd told me they had never sent them the first time round as I've now lost money purchasing replacement items. No response and no offer to recompense me for the extra expense I've incurred

I send replacment bb back to wiggle and go to fit the one that's just turned up (square taper cartridge ) and notice the fixed cup lip has sheared off so its useless. Seller offers to refund me if I send back , I have now asked for address twice and also refund to cover postage back but still no reponse for over a week now . I appreciate not everyone's on here all the time but sellers feed shows they are active and posting elsewhere!

Sorry to bring it to this @bountyhunter1980 but I've tried to resolve it privately and got tired of waiting for a repsonse, I would never treat a buyer this way.

@croft did the same thing to me: lied about having already sent something, then posted it the next day.

Of course you paid by paypal goods and can start a claim through them...?

Think I still have a box with his address on it. Will check in morning... Shame as my dealings with @bountyhunter1980 were all good even if comms were a little slow.

Yes. We've had this once already. I don't think it is necessary to bring me up at every opportunity. You had your say a few months ago - isn't that enough? Yes I messed up, no, he did not wait weeks.

Yes, I lied about sending the package as I didn't want the buyer to get mad that I was being lazy. Guess a lie was worse than the truth but there you go. My bad.

Unfortunately I paid as as "friend/family ", not for goods. I normally do on here in good faith but after this will be reluctant to do so again

Agree with you entirely. I just don't see why we have to keep revisiting old news. I am not trying to excuse myself here.
