Draw one line, from each end of that line draw circles both with a radius equal to one of the other line. Where the circles intersect is where your two other lines meet. No angular measurements needed.

Yeah I mean the latter. Do you have any experience with that? The certification that is ..

None whatsoever.

Any suggestions for doing a batch OCR on a whole load of PDF files (preferably Windows but I could stretch to Linux) with free software?
I set up a macro to do it using Autoit and the full version of Acrobat but it's a bit clumsy (mainly due to me never having used Autoit) and I'd like a better solution.

I know all three lengths of the sides of a triangle I want to draw. All un-equal with no right angles. How do I draw it in CAD
I had to do a bunch of these in Fusion360 (all the cool kids are using it) the other day, drawing them was the easy part.

When rebuilding a wheel, is it a good idea to remove the sprocket before cutting the old spokes?
(This question is rhetorical, and I are a grade one idiot)

I'm setting up a company and need to register a domain name and get email addresses. Any recommendations on companies to use for this?

• #74736
Only bought a domain name once - that's the extent of my knowledge.

namecheap is umm cheap.

avoid Arvixe like the plague.

godaddy doesn't have a great rep.
I, like _Tester, have persistently failed to move my 1&1 account elsewhere.

I use http://blacknight.com/, no complaints. The native email client is a bit pants, but we just set up Gmail addresses using the domain.

Also happy with one.com, although I admittedly don't put much demand on their services.

Domains, gandi are brill. They do basic email too. If you want more features, office365 can't be beat.

Anyone know where I can buy food grade sodium hydroxide to make pretzels with? A quick internet search doesn't show anything promising. Any physical shops that might do it?

I don't think it's as strong as caustic soda but chinese supermarkets sometimes have lye water, which might do. Also this article describes heating regular sodium bicarb to make stronger "baked soda", I've never done it though - http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/15/dining/15curious.html

My domain is registered with these http://www.pulsewebhosting.com/ who appear to be entirely shit, don't respond to emails, and have a fucked-up website (which is exactly what inspires confidence).
How do I transfer it to someone else given that I can't contact them?

Mediatemple are good too, they have inbuilt webmail and that.

I'd seen lye water but didn't make the connection to Chinese cookery - I'll try my local - thanks for that.
I'd read about the baking soda thing but it reportedly doesn't give as good a finish.

Heating up the baking soda turns it chemically into something else stronger so maybe worth trying if you can't get hold of other stuff
What do you mean by UCI compliance? Do you mean that it meets the UCI rules for racing, or that it's been certified? The latter simply means that you can race them in UCI sanctioned events. I suppose it might give a bit of credibility if you're a new manfacturer, but it costs between 500 and 5000 Swiss Francs to get a frameset certified.
