I was planning to keep the cables black but I might play around in Photoshop to see if neon cabling would work, it probably needs black tires then.
@amey I've been running Campag 10 speed on my other road bikes :). Time to try something else for a change. I also like the looks of 5800, especially for a 'cheaper' groupset. The feel and finish of Veloce ergopowers is a bit more sophisticated than these 5800 sti's though.
@josh Sanding was done with 1200 grit iirc, mainly on the part where the decals were sitting under a clearcoat. The remaining bits were give a once over with sandpaper to roughen the surface, no need to remove all of the clearcoat before primer.
