  • I've finally got around to this. Still need some tweaking, and I need some instant dashi rather than a saino's fish stock cube, but otherwise tasting good.

  • I'm not making dashi all yet... and this must be remedied. I'll probably go instant dashi as I don't have the facilities at work to be boiling up kombu and bonito flakes. Dried wakame goes in the soup too but isn't part of the dashi preparation (or lack of).
