I seem to remember a motorcyclist was summonsed for careless driving for a wheelie. He, I think, correctly argued in court that to achieve what he did took a great deal of skill and was in no way careless. I'm sure he won. I could, of course, be imagining it.

I think I heard the same story when I was working out of Clapham so might just be a job urban myth
