lolz. Yeah, their collective performances since he left would point to that hypothesis being wrong. I did also include Sturridge in the 'lost' category btw.. given that he is now pretty much just a £80k p/w training cone.

The flip of that is Liverpool were rubbish for the two seasons before with Suarez.

That is actually wrong. Suarez was the catalyst, but Sturridge, Sterling, Gerrard, Coutinho and Henderson were all on good or great form for a lot of the season.
