Agreed. However, Evans and the distributor have different opinions of who should have done what and a week of phone calls between them got very tedious. I'm going to call again today BUT I'd rather get it done elsewhere and move on.
Bargain unused secondhand DT Swiss 240s 28/28 centerlock hubs on their way. Currently thinking DT Swiss 460db rim and d-light spokes.

Frankly amazed Evans would argue the toss to be honest. And I didn't think Evans got these frames via CSG so no idea whey they'd be involved. @Chak might know better tho
Dickheads in cycling world shocker tho.
Actually, scrap that. I'm not amazed. I'm amazed when giving someone money for things in Cycling isn't agony.
Bring it to Soho Bikes or Talbot and get them to do it - put money in the hands of people who aren't asshats, and get the job done properly. Win-Win!

@iamalex what @Howard said. Take it to your Local or someone who actually gives a shit. Expecting either to care after the bike has left their possession will only make you type out your emails with your face.
We had a Hi Mod DA Di2 come out of the box with a clean snapped chainstay, CSG couldn't care less, whilst on the other hand, Evans will try to fob anything to brand/distro to offset the cost, so afraid to say you're stuck in limbo and your requests will be left there too.
You'd be surprised how much swarf is leftover on Cannondale frames.
The shop should have done this AFAIK.
