What do you mean by UCI compliance? Do you mean that it meets the UCI rules for racing, or that it's been certified? The latter simply means that you can race them in UCI sanctioned events. I suppose it might give a bit of credibility if you're a new manfacturer, but it costs between 500 and 5000 Swiss Francs to get a frameset certified.
As a bike manufacturer (frameset mainly which then built up and sold as full bikes) what does UCI compliance offer? Publicity? How hard is it to achieve it?
