  • The rollback from Win 10 to 7 works fine (so long as you've spare HDD space and do it in a month) so it's not much of a risk installing it to see whether the drivers are there and uninstalling if not.

    I had one machine (a crappy bargain tablet) that was missing drivers so rolled back to Win 8 on that.

  • Stupidly, if you use the option to create recovery/installation media for Win 10 you can no longer roll back.

  • My laptop's wifi card didn't have a w10 compatible driver so the upgrade to 10 wouldn't work at all. Bought a different wifi card from eBay for a fiver or so and it worked a treat. Definitely wouldn't return to 7 now.
