Newsflash: apart from the 'arty' stuff most people hate graffiti, they think it's shit. Because most of it is. Shitty tags with about as much artistic merit as Dane Bowers. On a bad day. It's antisocial and it's a nuisance.

"Broken windows" policies are just another way to criminalize poor people. I'd be keen to see studies of corruption in urban-beautifying and who gets those tax-funded contracts.
