Disagree. It's part of the "charm" I agree, but it doesn't feel any worse for the decade and a half since release. But then I guess some games now have such easy gameplay, anything with half a notion of difficulty blah blah blah....

Well, not technically correct as you can swan dive off of these specially marked playforms:
But none of this:

Pokemon is 20 years old this weekend, and Nintendo are rereleasing the OG Yellow, Red, Blue on 3ds virtualconsole so you can revisit Kento
I actually still have a game boy pocket in blue, with Blue in it. Still pick it up and play it every couple of years.
Might grab Yellow for the lols -

I've been playing Fire Red on my phone, it never gets old. It has the added benefit of speeding through the level up grind at 16x speed though

Yeah, one of the XP challenges is to swan dive off the platforms in the area below the village, innit?
Trying a new playthrough on the hardest level -you don't regain health without using medipacks, amongst other things. Likely to take a bit longer.

That's bullshit. Next you'll be telling me you can't do handstands on a ledge.

Haven't measured fps but it's playing very smooth on very high everything at 1440 resolution.

Been playing star wars battle front... Unfortunately it got abit boring! I wanted to love it more!!! Ps4 internet subscription then ran out and not being overly fussed it forced me to play madmax again which it pretty awesome, huge open world and the fighting is good as it's the same as the batman games, also with no internet I have been playing mgs5 today and still can't remember why I stopped playing it.

Wow, I had no idea that games still shipped with game-breaking bugs (well, okay, other than Bestheda). Can't believe that over a year later Alien Isolation still has them. Meh

Just Cause 3 had one (that came up twice) which was a bit of a pain in the ass. Not sure if they've fixed it yet, but was definitely about for the first month/two.

Played the demo of SWBF... Got it out of my system and never bothered buying the full game. Just a bit boring after the initial "ooh look storm troopers!"
If they hadn't released that demo they would have had £60 of my money before I could work out it was crap. Silly.

I guess it might be a bonus of my habit of buying very few games on release that most times I do pick one up they've all been fixed. But to get 3/4 the way thorough a fairly long level and find a door that doesn't trigger, and have to start the whole thing again is pretty frustrating.
I think I could let things like MGS V and Fallout off the hook, because the mostly open world means there are far more variables in a situation than can easily be tested, but in a linear game it seems pretty incredible -

The Witcher 3 still has quite a few that I've seen. To be fair it's bloody huge, but when they happen in story quests it's pretty annoying.

Unravel was good, bit cheesy in parts but a fun and good looking platformer with some decent puzzley bits.

Hey folks, looking for some opinions. Those of you who are into stealth games, which are your favourites and what makes them so good in your opinion?
Looking to start building a game over the next few months and while I've got a good idea of what I'm going to build, I'd also like some input from others.
Nice.
