before i get the hollowgrams fitted I want to make sure I have got the cabling perfect - ie no rubbing of gear cables on the disc cable outer, and no rubbing of the disk cable on the bb30 axle. @dick which routing did you perfect first? and I take it right shifter/rear derailleur = entry on the drive side of the dt, with left shifter/front derailleur entry on the left?

eurgh I'm so jealous of all your CAAD10s :(
-
• #3965
'tempted to get one of those caad10 discs just to give them a try.. i've read the last 20 pages so far and not sure if i want to punish myself with the issues installing disc brakes/rotors/etc.. as i really dont know anything about them.,..
Still getting a bit jealous though! might get one from evans maybe for a future project..

Cable routing aside, seems like you could put a nicely sized whale in there

Disc brakes aren't that complicated really, the learning curve is a shallow one.

Think I've read a race report from that. Traffic sounds 'interesting'.

Cheers, yeah think that's the one that amey pointed out in the TransAm thread.
Just got the missus to have a look at my shortlist of bikes and pick the best looking... because that's what it's coming down to at the moment. I have no idea which to go for, there's usually not so much in it when I buy a bike but there's so much variation in the frames/bikes that fit me for this purpose.

I contacted Cannondale directly and got nothing, then called a few sites that had variants of the cranks and they didn't have them. Obvious or not, I didn't actually check for nearby dealers. Evans are a dealer and they can order the stuff in. Cheers.
£65 for each arm
£120 for the spindle and bearingsAbout another £100 for Spiderings but I don't need these.

This is for the SI crank stuff not the SISL2 stuff, if that makes any difference.
SISL2 doesn't work with shorter 104mm spindle.
