Have rated the luxos pretty volubly on here, but I have to eat my hat: the plasticky casing has really pissed me off now. It rattles. In a squeaky subtle tiny way, but it's bloody there.
And yes the beam is very clearly delineated as in that picture. I have no problem with this, as it means I know I'm not dazzling anyone which I think is bloody out of order.
