This week was really hard - I had some good ideas, but none that came off logistically. Like many others, said I'd submit something each week though, so here we are!

I fucked up the film loading so the advance didn't work properly. All the frames are dark on the left :(

Cheers, I'm just submitting it out of principle for spending the time and hassle of using film. The digital shots were better but they were easier :)

I failed to get any of the shots I planned and so since I'm not going to get anything tomorrow I figured I'd just submit this. Played around with some extension tubes and the angle poise on my desk.

Took me to the final hour to get this shot. Was quite a tough-y this week which was actually really pleasant as it really made me think.

Interesting that this topic is construed as difficult. Seems to me so many possibilities.
Loving the thread though and the additional level of interaction it elicits while going about daily business

@skydancer Ye I find myself concentrating on every little thing when out and about now, wondering what could fit the criteria. I agree, and I think that's what could have made it a bit tricky, there's a lot of totally different routes to take that all adhere to the 'power' theme. I personally kept changing my mind on what route I wanted to go down.

Really great theme choice though, thoroughly enjoy stuff that needs a bit of thinking. Well done @Vesalius

I have a suggestion, obviously there's the voting period, and then some time spent choosing a topic, so this will often leave only half a week to take a photo on the chosen topic.

Instead if the winner of this week chooses the topic for the week after next, then they have much longer to think about the topic.

For this coming week, someone can be elected to choose to fill this one week gap, and then that won't have to happen again.

Very weak entry.....my plan had been to hit up the big CND rally for some people/pershing power
