That's not the same. With Luxos: huge hotspot in the middle, sharp corners. With supernova: a car lookalike beam.
I love my supernova, the Luxos just works well but nothing fancy. It's quite bulky (plastic everywhere) and I dislike this beam because it's really "square" with bold edges. I don't know how to explain it but my Supernova beam is much more appreciated when riding: without blinding cars I can see really far. Luxos are quite good for a daily bike, or a functional one. But with Supernova lights you're not bothered - during night, the road is lighted up like during day thanks to the nice beam and output. The Luxos overexposes the near field quite close the bike too...
Thanks! I got a Triple + Tail Light incoming from Supernova. It's hard to get opinions from riders that had compared between models, a local friend also prefer's Supernova Triple over Edelux II.
