Yes, and it has to be done on a bike complying with the UCI regulations for track pursuit bikes. Old Faithful was a TT bike, a newly built replica of it is probably a HHSB.

So I used this show as an excuse to get this done.” sounds like he intends to use it as a TT bike? Although lack of front brake makes that a little doubtful.
