Difficult to beat Bike Park Wales for chuck yourself down a hill lols with minimal peddling
Requires some skills to be fun though - not for the complete novice
All depends on what you are looking for and your skill level

Interested... When?
Will definitely try to get to SteelCityDH again this year.

I have a big beard, a couple 80s tribal tattoos, and some massive Oakley eyeshades?
Acceptable mostly because of (I assume) non-ironic 80s tribal tattoos.

If you're going to take the suggestion from @gabes I'm going to be living about a 30 minute drive from Afan as of tomorrow. Can't wait to ride the Wall again. The trails there are very good and the trail network has been developed further. Plus there's hidden off-piste stuff within that trail network.
If you want a B&B with a warm welcome, good food & beer, and easy access to the trail center at Afan Forest then try the Afan Lodge. -

Enduro is 23/24 July, there's also Sheffield's Tramlines music festival that weekend.
Steel City DH is April 16th. Unfortunately I'm going to BPW that weekend, else I'd have entered for the shits n giggles... -

Yes mate....but it was close with a couple of the others! It was very tough at this time of year though....9hours 55 riding time. It's easy when it's dry, and a really pleasant way of ticking off some miles.....not so much in February!
I got into bed at 3.30 am.... -

:0)
I've just about recovered today.... Finally not hungry! -
• #8111
Oh, and you need to book forever in advance.
And it's pedalling. Unless you're selling smut.

Oh, and you need to book forever in advance.
This is true at the mo - no entirely free weekends until June. But there's a reason for that.
If you want to end your relationship, suggesting pedalling the XC trail to the top on a 160mm AM biek would be a good way to do it.

Looking for a set of 25.4 bullmoose handle bars. Anyone selling?

Best (cheap) option for chainrings on a 3x10 shimano chainset?
-
• #8115
New crank, probably.
Think I've got some - nice ones - kicking around though.
-
• #8116
Yeah, feels a shame to ditch the whole crank though - It's a good one and I got it cheap.
As long as yours have a lot of life left in them I'd be interested.

Riding Revolution Bike Park today. Can't fucking wait. So excited I can't sleep.
Staying in awesome bunk house accommodation at Llanfyllin Workhouse. Being off season I have the entire place to myself. Only the ghosts of former workhouse inmates prevents me from making the most of things and helicoptering around the courtyard.

27.2 dropper - RSP Plummet still the budget thing to go for? I didn't get around to ordering one in the fall.
There's this on ebay, but I remember there being a cheaper option, maybe?
Afan forest, Glyncorrwg has a good cafe that serves beer, campsite, and loads of trails. Skyline cycles rents out bikes too. They are all at the same center. There's another center down the valley at the other end of the trail network, and there's a place with log cabins up top where the 4X and bikepark trails are.
Think you can get a train to Maesteg and then there's a cycle route or cab to get to Glyncorrwg. Sure there's B&Bs around too. Midges can be pretty bag at the campsite.
