Old Trafford last night. Tickets should be easily available for the 2nd leg at least.

Decent draw for United fans though, there's nothing quite like a Euro away game in some backwards, near 3rd world shithole.

Those trains from Euston will be awash with jovial cockneys sharing stories of both of their clubs European exploits.
Dublin will be a graveyard too

I'm inclined to agree, but any newcomers tend to get ousted by TEH RULEZ.

Are we the thread equivalent of golf? A dying game that can't attract new players because the exact clubs who need them shun them for not being golf club wankery enough.

I think it's just that anyone who arrives here actually expecting to discuss football is flamed to a crisp...
....then we go back to talking about how shit Liverpool are.

Billericay Town are having a season. Been shit every time I've been this season (admittedly considerably less than the last 5 years) but still gunning for play offs (amazingly not had every game cancelled since October due to weather)

Also where can I get a West Ham shirt with out a sponsor printed on it?
One of the better shirts is a while and ruined with 'gamblewank' sprawled across the front -

Fuck Me Dortmund, only good things about that draw, apart from the chance to test ourselves against a team built in a similar way is, don't have to travel far, 2nd leg is back home so if we are in a hole, home support is there to pull you through.
Trying to think how I can get away, would love to experience the atmosphere at the Westphalion but will be deep in pre production on a big job at work...

Playing good teams in the EC can only be good experience for a young team about to qualify for next years Champions League

I've got to say I was hoping for a weaker opponent, like an Anderlecht, or Sparta Prague or Fenerbahce or Braga, as I really want us to win some silverware and this is as good as any, and I've been banging on for a while about how teams can use the Europa League to push on and create a strong squad for the Champions League and their national league, see Athletico Madrid, Sevilla, so I can't complain when we get a decent/really good team to test ourselves against. But I'd have preferred a not as tough opponent.
easy mike
