  • Judging by how blurry a lot of other people's phone pictures I've seen are, I'd disagree.

  • Usually because it doesn't have the capabilities to go a high ISO and a faster lens for the scenario, oh and a larger sensor to allow more light in.

  • Yes, obviously. And the ergonomics are very different.

  • An iPhone has a faster lens and more sophisticated sensor than a GR. It is obviously far smaller but stabilised.

    So compacts over phones have...

    • Traditional handling
    • A reduced depth of field
    • They don't start ringing when you're using them :-)

    That's all, and the gap is narrowing.
