  • So I've decided I'm going to do a few chipper races this year. But my Colnago has passed away and will be hung on the wall.

I'm after something light that most would probably not think of using. Just barely good enough for a seasons racing. Anyone got owt tucked in a corner theyd let go for a song? Top whack is prob 100. Whatever happened to those cheap cougar frames in the back of the comic?

  • I have a full bike in 57cm going spare.
Reynolds 753 steel tubing and mixed Shimano 600 parts / Stronglight.
    Happy to split.

Let me know if you are interested and I will take photos.

  • Could be. Fire me a photo. What is it?

  • I will get this done first thing tomorrow morning.

The frame was built by Cycles Catieau (shop owned by José Catieau, ex-TDF rider) in the late 70's and it is in their colours orange/yellow/black.
It was issued to Philippe Bon, a french CAT B rider and it was his training bike in the early 80's.

  • Here are photos - I have remeasured it and it is 57cm, centre to centre, for both seat tube and top tube.

    Cinelli Criterium bars, Cinelli stem
Shimano 600 Tricolore brake calipers, levers, headset and RD
    Stronglight chainset.
26.4mm Kalloy seatpost & Turbo saddle.
Mavic clincher rims on Campagnolo hubs.

    Condition is "upper beater grade"

I still plan on cleaning, degreasing/regreasing, new chain, new tyres and fresh bar tape before selling.

    Here are the photos:

  • I have this Olmo for sale, not a cheap one but in case ;): https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/282551/#comment12819195
