Ice is a fucker. I don't go out in it nowadays.
Can't afford broken bones and I was on blood thinners for a lot of last year which made crashing quite a bad idea.

I had a newer Durano on the turbo last night and it was rolling heavy but maybe I'd just tightened the roller down more than normal.

Yeah, last year it was ice or nothing. This year I got myself a nice turbo trainer so been using that to maintain fitness when it's been too grim outside.

Looking forward to getting back to the perfect, dry tarmac of Majorca again in April though!

I was in Majorca early Feb when it was the Thames flooded my normal training roads (coincidence, honest) and it rained heavy once in the week. Rest of the time it was lovely.
And people want to leave Europe? Mental. Majorca rocks.
