Panasonic gravelking 25c on my fixed commuter/winter thing. I've got fairly narrow Halo rims and wanted something that'd give me decent grip without compromising on speed too much.

I crashed twice last winter due to slipping on ice. Haven't had anything so bad this year, especially with slightly lower psi. The tyres seem pretty okay.

Ice is a fucker. I don't go out in it nowadays.
Can't afford broken bones and I was on blood thinners for a lot of last year which made crashing quite a bad idea.

I had a newer Durano on the turbo last night and it was rolling heavy but maybe I'd just tightened the roller down more than normal.

Yeah, last year it was ice or nothing. This year I got myself a nice turbo trainer so been using that to maintain fitness when it's been too grim outside.

Looking forward to getting back to the perfect, dry tarmac of Majorca again in April though!
