If you're going to take the suggestion from @gabes I'm going to be living about a 30 minute drive from Afan as of tomorrow. Can't wait to ride the Wall again. The trails there are very good and the trail network has been developed further. Plus there's hidden off-piste stuff within that trail network.
If you want a B&B with a warm welcome, good food & beer, and easy access to the trail center at Afan Forest then try the Afan Lodge.
