  • This is going to sound a bit naïve, but sizing was the most important factor. Then tubing and finally price.

    The colour of them never really mattered because most of the NJS frames are glorious colours.

  • Yeah, not sure if you saw it in my initial post but I mentioned sizing as kind of a given...I was more curious about the features after finding the right size.

    That's what is killing me the most...the colors are so amazing. I'm usually picky about that but there are so many awesome variations on NJS frames that it makes so hard to pick one. Even colors I would have never expected to like somehow end up looking so incredible on some frames.

  • I would go for in budget first (obvs)
    colours (I'd look for something that you can use with coloured grips cause its such a rare ability)
    or
    brand; you are buying an NJS frame because its NJS not because its a great track frame so being so brand conscious isn't much of a stretch.
    And finally look for special features; they all feel unique so I didn't worry much about that.

    Obviously if the condition is sufficiently bad then its a no go.

    That said the Kalavinka label was the main drive for me, aside from size restrictions and a price.
