  • Getting it in the correct size was my thing - I'm not tall by any stretch of the imagination, but 56sq frames appear to be few and far between.

    Next was tubing - I have a 3Rensho, a Nag and a Kalavinka. The 'Vinka is a Korean version but with the necessary Kalavinka lugs and of the three it's the heaviest.

  • Yeah, I was thinking of a 3Rensho simply because they'll never be made again by the original builder. They're usually pricey for anything decent though.

    I'm leaning towards a Level or Samson since they both impressed me in person but it's easy to forget just about every approved company can produce a really nice frame.

    Did you ignore certain tubing types? Was looking at a few Genius frames but I know they're quite thin.

  • This is going to sound a bit naïve, but sizing was the most important factor. Then tubing and finally price.

    The colour of them never really mattered because most of the NJS frames are glorious colours.
