  • Fair enough! Glad you're happy!

  • I received my caad10 today and fitted some 30c challenge paris-roubaix. There is loads of clearance on this bike.

  • BOOM! I was waiting for someone to do that!

    30c it is!!!!

  • 160mm rotors aswell.......?

  • @Dick Yes, 160 front and rear, I swap most of the parts of my cx.

  • apologies for shitty photo, i havn't had a chance to go outside in daylight with a good camera yet!

  • That looks flippin amazing.

  • Thats bloody good looking that

  • I wish I could afford to put an 11 speed ultegra groupset and some hollowgrams on it, one day! probably when everyone else is on 15 speeds and wheels made of unobtanium.

  • RAAD10

  • Not sure the 11 speed thing is that much of a worthwhile upgrade, athough saying that I have two bikes on 9 speed, one on 10 and a fixed, so maybe I'm retro-biased.

All this along with @Dick 's disc Caad makes me want another cannondale, aka a sign I should be riding more...

  • Adapters 4 dayz

  • I'd use a 160 on the front, in fact I do use a 160 on the front on all my disc braked bikes - and I'm 5kg lighter than you Swedee. Never felt over-braked.

  • very nice, must be 60 or 63cm model? looks good with those tyres... definitely regretting fitting my 25c open paves now :'(

  • 140mm just looks disproportionate. It's the equivalent of using a 50mm stem.

  • I ordered the discs last night so will try with 140. If it feels inadequate will get an adapter and go to 160 up front

  • Have you seen how fugly the adapters and bolts are? Let alone how much they weigh!
I'm going to order a 140mm rotor for the front aswell, just so I can use the black titanium bolts I bought!

  • Blasphemy. 203mm or gtfo!

  • Looks amazing. Somehow not in the slightest bit lairy. Well, not in an offensive way.

  • Awesome! Got some paris-roubaix in the parts bin, perhaps it's their time to shine

  • Very nice. Needs mudguards.

  • I used an adapter after chatting to Howard about caliper threads, and how hard they were to re-tap if they stripped in the fork. When the fork is as expensive as only ENVE knows how, that's a consideration, especially if it's also painted.

  • Nothing ever needs mudguards

  • As above if you do get an adapter the ones that require four bolts are better than those that use two longer ones...weight be damned etc

  • Hi All

Just got my first Cannodale frame a 1994 3.0. It has threadless forks, pretty sure they're alloy but the steerer appears to be steel . They're about 640g a bit heavier than expected . I thought these frames came with the sub 1 forks . Can anyone enlighten me ? Cheers
