Don't have a photo but my regret was a custom built track frame by Alec Bird which I had built in 1980. Alec Bird was very old school and worked out of shed at the back of the Holdsworth shop in Penge. Reynolds 531/Columbus mix, chrome forks and dropouts. Unfortunately, I never got to race it as I got a place at a university far from any track soon after. I kept the frame for 15 years in the hope I'd race again but at a time I was busy with work and young family, I sold it to a young cyclist eager to ride the track. I have had other custom frame builds since but none can compare with the first.
