  • Skinny - on a motorbike you should easily be able to see the race three times. I have, before, in a car and am going to be trying to do so again this year. First stop, the Arrenberg, then a section that runs along the motorway nearby (can't remember which section but can figure it our easily enough later), then Carrefour de l'arbre. Parking can be tricky in a car and there are a lot of other people making a swift exit at the same time to get to the next secteur but that shouldn't affect you.

You were on a motorbike in a car?

  • Yeah good idea.

I need to get my map out and have a plan really. Should be very feasible to see it a few times, as you say. Just a case of planning!

  • Yeah...I did Arrenberg then the velodrome (2 years ago), and just the velodrome (last year)...Both great experiences, and could have even squeezed in the motorway spot between Arerenberg and the velodrome that year.

Tbh Arrenberg then the velodrome is very doable and you get a massive screen in the velodrome for the finale so would recommend. Understand that downtown Roubaix is closed road central so assume you'll be able to get 2 miles from the velodrome and do the 40 minute walk and get a spot.
